Schedule 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM Job Description The Cardiovascular Progressive Care unit provides specialized care for patients undergoing a variety of cardiovascular procedures, including open heart and vascular surgeries. The unit manages a patient population with complex medical needs, offering stepdown care for surgical patients as well as overflow for medical cardiology cases. Responsibilities Manage and provide care for patients recovering from cardiovascular surgeries. Monitor vital signs and respond to patient needs in a fast-paced environment. Administer medications and manage IV drips utilizing various cardiac gtt management protocols. Perform chest tube management, tube feedings, and epidural management as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Stepdown and telemetry experience required. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. Preferred : Recent experience in CV surgery and vascular surgery, as well as CVICU experience. Why ARMStaffing?
