Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring a CA RN license, BSN, and at least 2 years of dedicated CVPICU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position located in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU within a hospital setting
  • Float required to the pediatric ICU as needed
  • 3x12 hour shifts with variable day and night scheduling
  • 4-5 weekend shifts are required per 4-week schedule, with weekend days varying by shift type
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • First time travelers considered if all experience and requirements are met
  • Pre-start modules required and must be completed prior to assignment
  • Must submit onboarding documentation 3 Fridays before start date
  • References must include two updated within the last year
  • Locals accepted at the same rate

  • Active CA RN license; temporary licenses not accepted
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Current certifications : AHA BLS, PALS, and ACLS
  • Minimum of 2 years of staff nurse experience in a pediatric cardiac ICU (float experience does not qualify)
  • Preferably experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital
  • At least one previous travel assignment required
