YOU MUST HAVE CLOJURE EXPERIENCE

We are seeking a Data Engineer with a passion for solving complex problems through data engineering. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Data Pipeline Development : Design and implement robust data pipelines using Clojure and Java libraries to manage data ingestion, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Workflow Orchestration : Utilize Apache Airflow to automate and manage data workflows, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
  • Cloud Management : Leverage Azure for cloud infrastructure, using Docker for containerization, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and Helm for managing Kubernetes charts to deploy, manage, and scale our applications.
  • Data Modeling : Develop and maintain PowerBI Models for advanced data visualization and analytics.
  • System Optimization : Enhance system performance through optimization of ETL processes and data modeling.
  • Scripting : Employ Python for scripting and auxiliary tasks to support data engineering activities.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure data solutions align with business objectives.

Skills & Qualifications :

Proven Experience : At least 3 years of experience in a data engineering role with a focus on big data technologies.

Technical Skills :

  • Proficient in Clojure and Java
  • Strong experience with Apache Airflow, Azure, Docker, Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes
  • Expertise in ETL processes and data modeling
  • Familiarity with PowerBI for data visualization
  • Competent in Python
  • Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Problem Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication : Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
