Senior Quality Manager
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Quality Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and management of the Quality Management Program (QMP) across various service lines including retail, specialty, infusion, and Treatment Navigation Team operations. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop, revise, and operationalize policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with URAC, ACHC, CMS, PBM, and other standards.
- Define, monitor, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); create dashboards and quality reports.
- Oversee incident reporting and the Good Catch program, ensuring timely documentation, review, and follow-up.
- Conduct trend analysis, root cause investigations, and system-level risk assessments; implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Coach staff on root cause analysis and Just Culture principles; integrate lessons learned into training and operations.
- Partner with department leaders across various domains such as retail, specialty, infusion, Treatment Navigation Team, marketing, IT, finance, and billing to align quality and compliance initiatives.
- Serve as administrator of the QMP and active member of quality committees; report progress to executive leadership.
- Support staff development, including pharmacy student and intern training.
- Perform pharmacist duties as needed.
Essential Skills
Advanced healthcare degree (PharmD, RPh, RN, or equivalent); active license required.Minimum 5 years in healthcare quality leadership, preferably in pharmacy operations or treatment navigation.Strong knowledge of quality improvement methods, risk management, and accreditation standards.Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred certifications : CPHQ Certified Professional in Healthcare QualityLean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, or CLHP (Certified Lean Healthcare Professional)CMQ / OE Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational ExcellenceCCEP or CHC Compliance & Ethics credential (optional)Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.00 / hr.
