As an ECB PAT Phlebotomist you will work Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm. This position does not come with benefits, but it does have the possibility of becoming full-time in the next few months. The Phlebotomist holds a safety sensitive position and is a competent paraprofessional which assists the registered nurses by assuming responsibility and accountability for direct and indirect patient care. He / she may assist with activities, personal care, comfort measures, maintenance of a safe and clean environment, and certain test / procedures done to a specific patient population under the direction and supervision of an RN. May be asked to assist in covering department secretary duties. Supports the nursing and medical staff in an effort to provide optimum patient outcomes.
