Location : St. Joseph Hospital North, 4211 Van Dyke Rd, Lutz, FL 33558

Status : Fulltime

Shift : 10 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM, Monday-Friday

On Call : No

Summary

The Operating Room Charge RN responsibilities include :

Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills

Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team

Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization

Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members

Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. We strongly prefer at least 2 years Operating Room experience as an RN. Charge and / or Board Running experience preferred.

Preferred Experience includes 2 years Perioperative RN experience
