$20 an hour General production worker on the West Side of Columbus

Hours : Monday – Friday 1pm-9 : 30pm with periodic overtime required

We are looking for production associates comfortable in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Interested associates should have an attention to detail, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn a new skill. The manufacturer is a local company specializing in the manufacturing of a very specialized material.

Job responsibilities :

  • Feed raw materials into machinery.
  • Monitor the production process.
  • Carry out basic quality and testing checks.
  • Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse
  • Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks to fulfill orders.
  • Pack goods for shipping
  • Maintain equipment and work areas.

Qualifications :

  • Ability to comfortably lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to spend an 8-10 hour shift on their feet in steel toe boots
  • Attention to detail and basic math skills
  • Reliable transportation to the West Side of Columbus
  • Aspirations for career longevity in manufacturing
