Project Title : Project Engineer

Location :   Two Capitol Hill, Providence, RI 02903 (Offsite)

Duration : 3 Years (with two possible 1-year extensions based on performance and funding)

Job Description :

  • Provide planning, technical documentation, and oversight of ITS and TSMO initiatives
  • Develop and maintain manuals, engineering specs, SOPs, and system evaluations
  • Provide expert input on integration of traffic monitoring and data collection systems

🔹  Required Experience :

  • 5–7+ years in transportation / ITS engineering
  • Strong understanding of traffic systems, fiber / wireless communication, IP configuration
  • Experience with traffic analysis tools, control systems, and CAD systems

    • 🔹  Certifications :

  • PE (Professional Engineer license)  – Preferred
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) – Optional but valued
  • Active certification is  not mandatory , but helpful for proposal scoring
