• Onsite, Clarkston, MI Number Needed : 2 1 Full-time, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (40 hours / week) 1 Part-time, Tue, Wed, Thu 7 : 45a-4 : 45p (24 hours / week) Starting pay $14-$18 / hour depending on education and experience Start date : Within two weeks Benefits of Working at Heartfelt Impressions Our teachers receive a comprehensive benefit package including : Paid professional development Childcare tuition discount (TriShare center / employer) Medical, dental, vision insurance (choice of plans) Aflac Supplemental Insurance Paid time off 401K with company match Paid Planning Time Referral bonuses Annual performance reviews and increases Free breakfast, lunch, and snacks Birthday benefits Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Prior experience with Toddlers in the classroom setting ( preferred )   Reliable transportation Consent to Background screening including fingerprinting Prior experience with High Scope Curriculum a plus Possess a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field ( preferred ) Teaching is the most important work As an Assistant Toddler Teacher, you will collaborate with and support the Lead Toddler Teacher to create a safe, nurturing and interactive environment that fosters age-appropriate learning.
• Heartfelt Impressions utilizes the High Scope curriculum in all Toddler classrooms.  Ensures overall safety of children Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on individual student’s needs and interests Implement High Scope curriculum, philosophy, and assessment tools Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures Attend company / school meetings Ensure the classroom is engaging and developmentally age appropriate Ensure cleaning tasks are completed Physically able to lift 15 pounds Each of our early learning centers has earned a Certificate of Recognition from Great Start Quality, (the equivalent of a five-star rating).
