Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM

About the Role :

As a Branch Operations Specialist , you will coordinate multiple functional areas to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional service delivery. From managing resources and transactions to overseeing shipments and production, your role is critical to meeting customer expectations and achieving company goals. You will work closely with the Branch Manager, sales team, and division managers to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will play a critical role overseeing the daily operations of our facility while driving efficiency, customer satisfaction and team performance. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Operational Leadership : Plan, organize, and direct multiple functional areas to ensure delivery of products to internal and external customers.
  • Transaction Management : Process payments accurately, issue receipts, reconcile cash drawers, and prepare bank deposits while maintaining strict security protocols.
  • Facility Maintenance : Assist with opening and closing duties to ensure quality and safe operations.
  • Resource Allocation : Share ideas to improve operations and allocate essential resources effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement : Promote a sense of urgency culture, empower team members, and support quality standards and customer delivery expectations.
  • Customer Satisfaction : Work closely with branch, sales, and division managers to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Order Processing : Oversee customer purchase orders for on-time pickup or delivery, including assembly and shipment preparation.
  • Data Management : Perform accurate data entry and database management.
  • Procurement : Manage the procurement of materials, supplies, and other items necessary for daily operations.
  • Safety Compliance : Follow all required safety practices and wear personal protective equipment.
  • Team Leadership : Participate in training, lead by example, and support team development in quality standards, safety practices, and compliance.
  • Skills & Qualifications

    Required :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and the ability to use a tape measure.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry; ability to type 25+ wpm .
  • Physical ability to lift up to 65 lbs (team lift).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Preferred :

  • Advanced business degree or 2+ years of retail and industrial assembly experience.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience.
  • Manufacturing knowledge (Fluid Power / Industrial Sales).
  • Forklift driver certification (training provided if not certified).
