job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork in the Urology Unit within a hospital Med / Surg setting Night shift position with 4x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 Patient ratios are 1 : 6 or 1 : 7 with high acuity care required Block booking is available except on holidays, with every other weekend required Peritoneal dialysis experience is a plus but not required Orientation takes place every other Monday Applicants must live at least 90 miles from the facility Care for urology patients with complex medical needs in a high acuity environment Must be comfortable managing high patient ratios Will consider first-time travelers who have extensive experience Scrubs required : all navy or navy pants with white top Holiday shifts may not be block booked and coverage expectations apply Two professional references are needed for consideration A copy of driver's license and Social Security number is required for compliance Active AL or compact RN license in good standing is required 1-2 years Med / Surg RN experience in high acuity settings Must be proficient with insulin and heparin drips Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are required COVID-19 vaccination required unless a documented religious or medical exemption is provided Flu shot required or exemption documentation must be provided Experience in large healthcare facilities preferred High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
