Compensation Hourly Pay Rate : $86.49 Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,090 - $2,200 Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details Location : Vineland, NJ 08360 (South Jersey healthcare jobs) Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Stepdown / ED Hold Unit Contract Length : 6 weeks Hours per Week : 36 Nursing Shift : Every other weekend required; 1 holiday per contract Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : January 3, 2026 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Stepdown RN or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurse Must be a true Stepdown Registered Nurse (Medical / Surgical Telemetry candidates not accepted) Active New Jersey or compact RN license BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA required) Willingness to float to ED Hold and other specialty units, including Elmer Full availability for 7 days of orientation during the first week (mandatory) Maximum of 3 days requested time off (RTO) during contract Cardiac Stepdown Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in Cardiac Stepdown and ED Hold units Provide clinical support for patients requiring trach care, bariatric care, nocturnal ventilators, and stroke care Manage patient ratios : 1 : 5 for Stepdown / PCU, 1 : 6 if floated to acute care Float to specialty units and Elmer facility as needed Participate in comprehensive orientation, including virtual and in-person training Complete all required orientation modules and classes on time Comply with all hospital policies and healthcare procedures Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse in Vineland, NJ, and make a difference in patient care!
