Must-Have : ICN level care, C-PAP, monitors, IV / blood draws, blood glucose testing, hearing screen, vitals, delivery attendance

Description :

Manager will interview candidates.

Unit has a Level 2 nursery with 30 beds.

Nurse to patient ratios are 5-6 : 1.

Charge nurse has an assignment each shift.

House supervisor is present during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Scrub techs float between departments with a primary role in deliveries.

One tech is scheduled every shift.

A Pediatric Hospitalist is in-house 24 / 7.

Respiratory therapist manages high flow and limited use of vents during transfers.

ICN has monitors, with no monitor techs assigned.

Shifts are scheduled for 5 p.m. to 5 : 30 a.m.

Block scheduling is utilized.

Employees are required to work every other weekend.

Holiday requirements are rotating every other holiday.

There is no call or standby requirement.

Floating may occur with couplets if census is low.

Scrubs are provided, and shoes worn outside are not permitted.

The charting system in use is Epic.

This unit is classified as Trauma Level 2.

The care setting is acute.
