Responsibilities Work in an acute care teaching hospital with 317 staffed beds Position is in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab focusing on diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures Daily caseload per tech ranges from 16 to 24 cases Shifts are 4x10 hours, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM Call is required for 3 weekends per contract and one night during the week No floating to other units or affiliate facilities required Patient population includes adult cardiovascular and vascular cases Epic (Excellian) and MacLab / Cardiolab systems are used, with Epic experience preferred Scrubs are provided by the unit Cath Lab Techs perform both diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures Must be able to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently Pre-start modules are required before beginning the assignment Parking is available with a fee for day / evening shift and free for night shift Return staff must have a 3-month gap from last shift if previously employed as perm staff or per diem Ideally, no more than 5 days of time off (RTO) will be approved Must complete fingerprint-based background check before starting, in accordance with Minnesota state requirements Reference from at least one supervisor is required for consideration Requirements Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required BLS and ARRT certifications required Experience with scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating required License required if applicable Epic (Excellian) and MacLab / Cardiolab experience preferred First-time travelers will be considered Must be eligible to work in a Level 3 trauma and teaching hospital environment Local candidates are accepted for radiology positions; candidates living less than 100 miles from the facility are eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-622977.
