About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery

License : Current RN License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP (provider), Advanced Fetal Monitoring

Must-Have :

• Must be comfortable with baby and delivered mother
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Specific charting experience required, Epic experience preferred

Description :

Local requirements vary.

No time off request during holiday periods allowed.

Candidates must have experience in administration of blood and blood products, anticonvulsants, antihypertensives, and assisting with vaginal deliveries.

Responsibilities include performing sterile vaginal exams, triaging obstetrical patients, and managing pain assessment.

Candidates should have knowledge and experience in starting and maintaining IVs, using infusion pumps, and monitoring patients during labor.

Successful candidates will be responsible for recovery of C-sections and care of the fundus, lochia, and perineum.

Knowledge of isolation precautions and effective communication skills are essential.

Modules are required as part of the onboarding process.

Any candidates with background checks or DUIs must disclose prior to submission.
