REPORTER, STATE POLITICS, WBUR News and Programming — Boston University
WBUR seeks a reporter with a passion for covering Beacon Hill, the governor and governor's office, the state legislature, and state politics. The reporter will lead WBUR's coverage of the 2026 gubernatorial race, develop scoops, produce regular enterprise stories, and respond quickly to breaking news. The position requires source-building at the State House in person, reviewing documents, and submitting public records requests. The reporter will work with editors to set priorities and pursue daily and longer-term stories across formats (audio, digital, live events, social, video).
