Channel Account Executive  Business Development + Channel Partner Management Overview Spokenote is hiring a driven Channel Account Executive (AE) with a dual focus :

  • 50% driving direct sales and 50% building a channel partner ecosystem to expand our reach into industries outside of our primary focus areas (sports & entertainment, higher education, and non-profits).
  • This is a quota-carrying, hybrid role designed for ambitious mid-career sales professionals who thrive at prospecting, hunting, and opening new doors, both directly and through partners.
  • You’ll be responsible for developing and managing strategic partner relationships, selling through those partners, and collaborating on joint go-to-market efforts while also carrying your own book of direct business.
  • If you're a hunter at heart who loves building ecosystems and creating new revenue channels in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial SaaS environment, we want to hear from you.
  • What You’ll Do 1.
  • Drive Direct Sales (Core & Near-Core Markets) Proactively identify, research, and engage new prospects through outbound channels including cold calling, email, LinkedIn, video outreach, and networking.
  • Leverage inbound leads, marketing-driven campaigns, event connections, and referrals to accelerate pipeline development.
  • Conduct discovery calls and demos to deeply understand customer needs and communicate Spokenote’s value proposition.
  • Close new business and transition accounts to Customer Success for onboarding. 2.
  • Build and Manage a Channel Partner Ecosystem Identify, recruit, and onboard channel partners (e.g.  resellers, consultants, and strategic alliances) targeting industries outside of our three core markets.
  • Develop joint go-to-market strategies with partners, including co-branded campaigns, event participation, and content sharing.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned partners, fostering trust and ensuring alignment on business objectives.
  • Enable and empower partners by providing training, resources, and ongoing support to help them sell Spokenote effectively.
  • Maintain regular partner pipeline reviews and joint forecasting sessions to ensure mutual success. 3.
  • Sell Through Partners Work side-by-side with partners on joint sales opportunities — including discovery, demos, proposals, and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop partner enablement tools, sales collateral, and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Establish KPIs to measure partner success and drive accountability. 4.
  • Develop and Own Pipeline Build a consistent stream of early-stage opportunities across direct and partner-led channels.
  • Use CRM tools (HubSpot) to manage relationships, track engagement, measure pipeline health, and forecast revenue.
  • Partner closely with internal teams — marketing, customer success, and product — to align messaging and optimize outreach. 5.
  • Stay Smart and Strategic Conduct ongoing market and partner ecosystem research to identify new verticals, strategic opportunities, and competitive insights.
  • Continuously refine your ideal customer profile (ICP) for both direct accounts and partner-driven leads.
  • Use feedback loops from partners and customers to influence product positioning and GTM strategies.
  • Who You Are Proven success in business development, outbound sales, & channel partner management, ideally in SaaS or tech.
  • A natural hunter with the ability to generate leads, build partnerships, and develop pipeline from scratch.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and comfort navigating partner ecosystems and joint-selling motions.
  • Highly collaborative — you thrive working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to balance multiple priorities between direct selling and partner engagement.
  • Familiar with CRM and prospecting tools such as HubSpot, Seamless AI, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Open to working from our office in Fishers.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred Powered by JazzHR
