Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a day shift inpatient rehab position requiring at least 2 years of experience and a current state or compact license.

Responsibilities

  • Inpatient rehab setting
  • Day shift from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Assignment based in a hospital environment
  • Uses Meditech as the EMR system
  • Local candidates are allowed with no mile restrictions
  • Orientation includes virtual and competency-based modules
  • Compliance documentation must be completed two Wednesdays before the start date
  • Centricity is used for timekeeping
  • First-time travelers may be considered
  • No HealthStream modules required prior to start
  • Team-based work environment
  • Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during onboarding

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years physical therapy experience with at least 1 year recent within the specialty
  • Active state or Compact PT license required for consideration
  • No past or current license violations allowed
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy
  • Ability to work full-time day shifts
  • License required if applicable
