Responsibilities Academic medical center with Level 1 Trauma designation and comprehensive Stroke Center Work in an Interventional Radiology department with 10 procedure rooms Treats a high-acuity mix of neurovascular, oncology, and complex interventional radiology cases Adult patient population with 46-50 cases per day Two techs are assigned per case Uses Siemens, GE, Philips imaging systems and GE ultrasound units EPIC Encompass EMR is used in the department Rotating shifts with manager open to 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts starting at 8 : 00 AM On-call required one day per week (4 : 00 PM until last case complete) and every 7th-8th weekend from Friday evening to Monday morning Expected to work 75% of scheduled holidays No floating required within the facility Responsibilities include assisting, scrubbing, circulating, and operating back-end equipment for a variety of neuro and body IR procedures Work closely with a team including tech extenders, neuro providers, surgeons, and physicians Department welcomes both experienced and first-time travelers New hires receive up to 2 weeks of orientation based on experience Hospital-provided scrubs Free parking on-site Supportive environment with a mix of new graduates and experienced staff Manager approval required for time-off requests Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Neuro IR within a Level 1 Trauma setting Current BLS certification required ARRT-R or RCIS certification required Proficiency with scrubbing, circulating, assisting, and equipment setup for IR procedures Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred License required if applicable Comfort working in academic teaching and complex trauma environments Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-612202.
