This role is perfect for a versatile sonographer who excels in both adult and pediatric imaging and thrives in a high-acuity hospital environment. Position Details : Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Location : Des Moines, IA Schedule : 3x12 Nights Contract Length : 13 weeks Number of Positions : 1 Responsibilities : Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, OB / GYN, vascular, and pediatric cases Prepare, position, and support patients while ensuring accurate image capture and diagnostic quality Collaborate with radiologists and providers to deliver timely and detailed imaging results Document findings accurately and maintain compliance with hospital and safety standards Float between multiple campuses as needed to meet patient and departmental demands Requirements : ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB) required, plus an additional specialty certification (vascular or OB / GYN strongly preferred) Active BLS (AHA) certification Minimum of 2 years of recent ultrasound experience (general and vascular required) Must be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patient populations EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred What We’re Looking For : A candidate who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and compassionate—able to provide reassurance during sensitive exams, maintain accuracy in urgent cases, and deliver high-quality results during overnight shifts.
