CHIEF DEPUTY PUBLIC DEFENDER

Job Title : Chief Deputy Public Defender

The Clark County Special Public Defender's Office is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Chief Deputy Public Defender. This attorney will work in a collaborative team environment, providing zealous legal representation to individuals charged with category A felonies such as capital murder, murder, and sexual assault. The role may include serving as Team Chief, supervising attorneys and support staff.

Qualifications : Possession of a Nevada Bar admission certificate and eligibility to practice law in Nevada, with either :

• Eight (8) years of professional legal experience, including four (4) years as a practicing attorney, OR
• Five (5) years as a Deputy Public Defender in Clark County's Public Defender or Special Public Defender's Offices.
