About The Position

Certifications : BLS, CPI / HWC

Must-Have :

• Strong skills in rehabilitation nursing
• Experience working with adult and geriatric populations

Description :

The position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients in a rehabilitation setting.

Candidates must have experience managing patients with neuro, trauma, burn issues.

Gait training and strengthening techniques will be part of the daily responsibilities.

Familiarity with wound vacs is preferred.

Daily patient ratios will be 1 RN to 6 patients.

Lift equipment will be provided for patient handling.

Electronic health records will be utilized for patient documentation.

The role does not require floating to other units but may involve MedSurg as needed.

Weekend shifts will be required every other week.

A mandatory reporter certification for child and adult abuse is required.

A comprehensive drug test (10-panel screening including opiates) will be conducted.

Proof of immunizations and titers must be provided within the last 12 months.

Candidates must display a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Travel experience is preferred but not required.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong teamwork approach and adaptability.
