Special Education Teacher – Resource Classroom

Wayne County, MI | Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year

We are hiring multiple Special Education Teachers for resource classroom positions in Wayne County, MI. This is a full-time assignment, Monday through Friday, beginning September 2, 2025 through June 10, 2026 (with potential to extend). You’ll join a collaborative educational community committed to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments for students with special needs.

Position Details

Location : Wayne County, MI

Start Date : September 2, 2025

End Date : June 10, 2026

Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday

Classroom Setting : Resource classroom

Responsibilities

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs

Provide small-group and individualized instruction in a resource classroom setting

Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families

Maintain accurate student records and progress reports

Utilize evidence-based instructional practices and interventions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education

MI Special Education Teacher Certification (or eligibility)
