The Program Manager of RN Career Development will lead this vision by creating pathways for registered nurses to advance their careers, discover new possibilities, and strengthen their impact at the bedside and beyond. This role is not only about managing programsit's about inspiring nurses, empowering leaders, and shaping the future of nursing within our organization. Partner and collaborate with recruitment and nursing leadership to identify and retain top nursing talent for ThedaCare Health System. Collaborate with HR and hiring leaders to implement workforce strategies which include internal and external benchmarking to further identify drivers around nursing recruitment and retention strategies. The job requires some accountability for assigning or coordinating work checking the quality of work and provide guidance, instruction, training and direction to others. Although the job does not require formal or official supervisory responsibility, the incumbent serves as group leader or acts in an informal leadership role. In addition, the employee may be expected to provide information or suggestions on human resources matters by conducting and analyzing employee surveys and / or stay interviews Schedule : Fully onsite with some flexibility M - F 8 AM - 5 PM Occasional travel

    Job Description : Key Accountabilities

  • Create impact through innovation Introduce fresh ideas, best practices, and evidence-based strategies that make nursing careers more rewarding and sustainable.
  • Strengthen our workforce Partner with leaders, educators, and universities to ensure our nurses have the resources and encouragement they need to succeed.
  • Measure what matters Use data and feedback to continually refine programs and demonstrate the difference career development makes for nurses and patients alike.
  • Monitor and analyze data related to nurse turnover and retention. Gather qualitative and quantitative retention data
  • Qualifications : Minimum Experience and Education required and / or preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree highly preferred in Nursing, Education, Business, Innovation, or Healthcare Administration.
  • Current RN license in good standing.
  • 5+ years of nursing experience, including leadership, education, or program development.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for nursing excellence and professional development.
