Job description : Responsibilities of position :
Oversee all maintenance activities and assume responsibility for plant process, auxiliary, and utility equipment
Oversee the site's Maintenance Department Scheduling, Planning, and TPM activities
Primary responsibility for establishing long-term maintenance plans for all manufacturing equipment and associated utility systems to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
Assist in the development of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques to ensure maximum equipment reliability
Be a proactive leader in the development and implementation of the eight pillars of TPM and associated TPM system
Ensure maintenance resources - skills, people, and tools - are adequate to support preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as addressing unplanned equipment failures immediately to minimize operational disruptions, including lead root cause analysis to prevent future reoccurrences
Manage large scale projects in conjunction with Engineering, lead implementation of PMs for new equipment installations.
Attend management staff meetings and monthly management meetings, etc. to summarize Maintenance activity and provide input for preventive maintenance development and capital project funding requirements planning
Ensure alignment and collaboration among maintenance, production, engineering, and administration to establish spare parts requirements and inventory
Establish, review, and report on Maintenance KPI metrics per FAC03 requirements
Serve as the administrator of any and all maintenance management and work request system
Oversee the calibration of all critical chain process instrumentation and test equipment
Serve as the FAC03 Maintenance focal point for systems management, reporting, sharing, and collaboration between sites
Develop and lead ONE SAFRAN projects, maintain and lead continuous improvement via Safran Maturity Matrix standard
Lead maintenance risk reviews per the Safran Enterprise Risk Management system / RiTo Tool
Lead audit efforts to ensure AS9100, FAA-FAR145, EASA-Part 21G, and other certifications are maintained
Lead Balance Score Card (BSC) initiatives for yearly and long term improvements and planning
Lead Equipment Health Assessment efforts
Management of CMMS system, installations, and up-grades
Perform other related duties as required
Ensure a proficient training program is in-place and employees are adequately trained
Minimal travel is required and may periodically include trips to other Safran sites, trainings, conferences, equipment manufacturers sites, etc.

Candidate skills & requirements :
Experience / Education / Certification Required :
Associate's Degree or equivalent in a technical field
Minimum of seven years experience in the following areas :
Managing a maintenance team in an industrial / manufacturing environment
Trouble-shooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, including reading associated schematics and P&IDs
Implementing and / or managing a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program, including development and tracking of equipment reliability measures such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)
Ensuring equipment and facility compliance to applicable federal, state, and local codes
Preference given to candidates with the following :
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
Lean manufacturing experience, certification a plus
Experience programming PLC & control systems and trouble-shooting microprocessor based systems
Working experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Maintenance / engineering experience with the following :
Boiler systems
Induction heat treatment furnaces
CNC machines
