Director of Project Development

A company is looking for a Director, Project Development - Gas-Fired Power Plant.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of gas-fired power project development, including site identification and feasibility analysis

Manage permitting processes and build relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies and local communities

Conduct feasibility studies and support investment decisions through financial modeling and strategic analysis

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in gas-fired power plant development, specifically in the ERCOT region

Deep understanding of U.S. permitting, power markets, and commercial contract structures

Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation capabilities

Technical and financial expertise in evaluating project risks and returns

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy, or a related field (Master's preferred)
