Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Auto Patrol in Fremont, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an innovative automotive environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will support a welcoming experience for everyone on site. By communicating clearly and responding promptly to situations, you will contribute to a positive environment that reflects our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, including areas such as parking lots, production facilities, and office spaces.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, or other unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and information as needed while maintaining access control protocols.
  • Document and communicate daily activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
