Position Overview

Ultra Corpotech Inc. is currently hiring a full-time Laser Operator to support our growing production team. This position is ideal for candidates with previous machine operating experience, even if they have not worked with laser cutting machines specifically. We are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a solid work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality. The Laser Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting equipment to fabricate metal parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to process metal materials (steel, stainless, aluminum, etc.).
• Interpret and follow blueprints, job orders, and work instructions to ensure accurate part production.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products safely using pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Inspect parts to ensure conformity to specifications using measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges.
• Perform routine machine maintenance including cleaning lenses, checking gas levels, and replacing consumables.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure optimal cutting quality and production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to company safety standards.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical and programming issues with assistance from supervisors or maintenance personnel.
• Accurately record production data and job completion details into logs or ERP systems.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
