Job Location

New England Area – Chelmsford, MA, Boston, MA, or Rocky Hill, CT.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for a variety of utility design related projects, including treatment plants, pump / booster stations, water line and collection line design, rehabilitation, master planning, and construction administration.
• Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
• Work under supervision of a project manager in the water / wastewater / water resources practice or senior level team members.
• Utilize basic engineering principles, judgment, theories, practices, and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems.
• Work on routine or detailed engineering assignments involving calculations and engineering analyses.
• Perform work with increasing responsibility and propose approaches to solve new problems.
• Identify discrepancies in outcomes, results, and analysis of engineering tasks.
• Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables and provide guidance to entry-level engineers.
• Record and interpret data, conduct analyses, prepare reports, and compare findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
• Perform data gathering site visits, field measurements, mapping, and observations during construction.
• Provide construction support for review of shop drawings, requests for information, and site visits to the construction.
• Perform quality control reviews of design calculations or drawings.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $90,000 $110,000
