What You'll Do :
- Manage Control Systems : Maintain, troubleshoot, program, and optimize PLC-based machine controls and data acquisition, including PLC logic, HMI development, and network communications.
- Optimize Equipment : Monitor and analyze automated equipment performance, focusing on control system efficiency, and implement improvements to maximize uptime.
- Lead Technically : Be the go-to resource for automation controls, guiding and training maintenance technicians on advanced diagnostics and PLC / HMI troubleshooting.
- Collaborate and Integrate : Work with engineering and production to integrate new automation, upgrade systems, and ensure seamless communication between control platforms.
- Safety : Uphold the highest safety standards for automated equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance.
What You Bring :
Experience : 5+ years of manufacturing experience (preferably consumer packaged goods) with a strong focus on automation controls. Expert-level knowledge of PLC programming (Rockwell Automation preferred), HMI development, and industrial networking is essential.Education : H.S. diploma; technical degree in automation / controls engineering is highly desired.Technical Mastery : Expertise in PLC programming (Rockwell Automation), HMI development, industrial networking (Ethernet / IP, ControlNet, etc.), servo drives, VFDs, and vision systems.Troubleshooting Prowess : Proven ability to diagnose complex control system issues.Analytical Skills : Strong understanding of control system architecture and data analysis skills.Communication Skills : Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences.What We Offer :
