Electrical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a permanent / direct hire Electrical Engineer, specializing in power distribution and automation systems, to support a large pharmaceutical client in the NYC metropolitan area. This employee will support a research and development campus and be responsible for administering the creation and monitoring of the site’s power distribution and automation strategies. This requires to be on site 5x a week, Monday-Friday / 1st shift hours.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree 2+ years of electrical engineering experience in a regulated environment
• Experience with Honeywell and Siemens PLCs
• Experience with Building Management, Environmental monitoring software, and Human Machine Interfaces (BMS, EHS HMI)
• Knowledge of test equipment and diagnostic instruments for automation and power distribution systems
• Expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems specific to HVAC, purified water systems, chillers, boilers, steam, and facilities equipment
