The Housekeeper is responsible for delivering high-quality hospitality service by ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are thoroughly cleaned, maintained, and presented according to established standards. The role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach to identifying maintenance issues, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations. Housekeepers are expected to handle guest requests or concerns in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The position also demands consistent adherence to company policies, punctual attendance, and the ability to work cooperatively within a team environment.
Essential duties include cleaning and servicing rooms and public spaces, replacing amenities, maintaining supply carts, practicing safety procedures, and upholding secure key control. The role also involves building positive relationships with guests through friendly and respectful communication. Candidates must be physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks, including lifting and operating cleaning equipment, and should possess the flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, and all applicants must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
