Store Manager in Training (SMIT) role at CVS Health is a development-focused position designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role.

The SMIT program is a self-paced, collaborative training over a span of 16 weeks, with both virtual and hands-on learning experiences. Support for your growth includes your District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and your Store Manager coach.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate well verbally and in writing to support and lead your team.
  • Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service.
  • Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
  • Manage the store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

Qualifications and requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor\'s Degree preferred
  • Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor
  • Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market
  • Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market
  • Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs

    Pay Range

    $18.50 - $26.25 per hour

    This pay range represents base pay for all positions in the job grade. Actual offer depends on experience, education, geography and other factors.
