Senior Accountant

Direct Hire Opportunity

$95,000 to $115,000

2+ years of public accounting required and CPA is highly desired

Must have Advanced Excel and strong GAAP background

Key Duties for the Senior Accountant :

Responsible for the monthly close process, including the monthly journal entries

Responsible for the balance sheet reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations

Prepaids, accruals, and reconciliation of intercompany accounts

Maintain the fixed assets registers (additions, disposals and calculate depreciations) and capital expenditures

Assist with the monthly financial reporting, prepare schedules and work closely with the auditors

Assist with the management of the audit engagements

Ensure internal controls are being maintained and monitored

Key Requirements for the Senior Accountant :

BA / BS in Accounting or Finance

CPA preferred

2+ year of public accounting experience required

Advanced Excel skills

Strong US GAAP

Strong written and verbal communication skills
