About Us

Newberry Animal Hospital (NAH) in beautiful Gainesville, Florida, is the perfect place for you. As a privately owned small animal practice group with four hospitals and twelve veterinarians in North Central Florida, we are currently seeking a full- or part-time Associate Veterinarian with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team. We are wanting to add rehabilitation and physical therapy for pets to our clientele. We offer a collaborative, positive work environment with state-of-the-art equipment.

Our focus is on providing high-quality care, supported by a well-trained staff and state-of-the-art equipment such as ultrasound, digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, and laser therapy. We offer a wide range of services, including acupuncture and advanced soft tissue surgery. We encourage our veterinarians to pursue their individual passions and expand their skills, whether in surgery, integrative medicine, ultrasound, exotics, emergency medicine, or other areas that excite and challenge them. For those interested, we also offer opportunities for ownership and partnerships.

Your Role :

• Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and hydrotherapy treatments.
• Evaluate and develop individualized rehabilitation plans for canine and feline patients.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and pet owners to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate clients on home exercises and post-rehabilitation care.
• Maintain detailed patient records and track progress.
