Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med / Surg position requiring a MT or compact RN license and proficiency with EPIC charting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Medical-Surgical unit of a hospital setting
  • Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Patient care within the general med / surg population
  • Use of EPIC EMR system is required
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
  • On-call duties may be required during scheduled shifts
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care
  • Duties include independent and delegated medical functions according to accepted standards
  • Requires timely, accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Applicants must be able to meet physical and clinical demands of the Med / Surg unit
  • Compliance with facility dress code is required

  • Active MT or compact RN license must be in hand for consideration
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, not expiring prior to start
  • At least 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience required
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school required
  • Experience with EPIC charting required
