Maintenance Director

Stellar Living, a leader in senior living services, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Director to join our team. As a Maintenance Director, you will ensure our facilities, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care units, are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics. This role is essential in providing a safe, attractive, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be pivotal in upholding our commitment to enhancing lives and fostering vibrant communities across our facilities. Oversee all aspects of building and grounds maintenance across multiple facilities. Develop and implement maintenance schedules while managing the daily operations of the maintenance department. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards. Manage and forecast budget for maintenance operations, including negotiating contracts with vendors and ensuring cost-effective purchasing. Lead, train, and supervise maintenance staff, fostering a dedicated and competent team. Regularly inspect facilities to identify needs for repairs or renovations and act proactively to address issues. Coordinate with other department heads to ensure seamless operation and minimal disruption to residents. Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of facility components. Strong leadership and team management skills. Expert knowledge in building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and managing maintenance costs. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and external contractors. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety protocols.
