Raytheon is seeking a candidate to join our Production Control organization in El Segundo, CA. This critical role will be responsible for Supply and Demand controlling activities. The successful candidate will transact and execute in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Shop Floor Control systems to ensure alignment between material availability, production schedule, and contractual requirements. This role will work closely with operations, factory, supply chain, engineering, and quality teams, to ensure effective program execution. In this role, the ownership and use of metrics will be key to maintain system health and driving the level of performance that will support customer expectations.

What You Will Do

• Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet contract requirements
• Releasing purchase requisitions to procure materials based on MRP, master production schedule, and inventory position
• Preparing work order releases based on a master production schedule, shop capacity and program priorities
• Providing status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed
• Working daily to confirm material supply and demand
• Working with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build
• Reporting on and troubleshooting MRP system generated exceptions and taking corrective actions
• Conducting inventory checks and reconciling the system
• Performing movement of material to and from the warehouse, factory, pack / ship, and / or other areas as needed
• This will be an onsite role in our El Segundo, CA facility

What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
