Our Residential Division serves Indiana’s leading production and custom home builders, providing high-quality flooring and interior solutions. We’re growing quickly and seeking an experienced Residential Account Executive to expand our reach and strengthen relationships across the homebuilding industry.

About Opportunity

As a Residential Account Executive, you’ll be the face of JLG to builders, developers, and contractors. You’ll focus on driving new business, maintain builder partnerships, and growing sales within the new home construction market. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on relationships, understands the residential construction cycle, and is motivated by results.

What You’ll Do

Sales & Territory Development

  • Identify and secure new business with home builders and residential developers
  • Manage a sales pipeline and maintain all activity in CRM
  • Conduct jobsite visits, walkthroughs, and relationship meetings
  • Research upcoming residential communities and projects

Relationship Management

  • Build long-term partnerships with builder purchasing teams and superintendents
  • Represent JLG at Home Builder Association (HBA) and Indiana Builders Association (IBA) events
  • Provide excellent follow-up, communication, and customer service to existing clients
  • Sales Execution

  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to ensure project accuracy
  • Negotiate pricing and close deals to achieve revenue targets
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • What You Bring

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience (construction, building materials, flooring, or homebuilding preferred)
  • Understanding of residential construction timelines and builder purchasing processes
  • Proven ability to prospect, develop, and close new business
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship skills
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and accountable
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel statewide
