We’re growing quickly and seeking an experienced Residential Account Executive to expand our reach and strengthen relationships across the homebuilding industry.
About Opportunity
As a Residential Account Executive, you’ll be the face of JLG to builders, developers, and contractors. You’ll focus on driving new business, maintain builder partnerships, and growing sales within the new home construction market. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on relationships, understands the residential construction cycle, and is motivated by results.
What You’ll Do
Sales & Territory Development
- Identify and secure new business with home builders and residential developers
- Manage a sales pipeline and maintain all activity in CRM
- Conduct jobsite visits, walkthroughs, and relationship meetings
- Research upcoming residential communities and projects
Relationship Management
Build long-term partnerships with builder purchasing teams and superintendentsRepresent JLG at Home Builder Association (HBA) and Indiana Builders Association (IBA) eventsProvide excellent follow-up, communication, and customer service to existing clientsSales Execution
Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposalsCollaborate with estimating and operations teams to ensure project accuracyNegotiate pricing and close deals to achieve revenue targetsConsistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goalsWhat You Bring
3+ years of B2B sales experience (construction, building materials, flooring, or homebuilding preferred)Understanding of residential construction timelines and builder purchasing processesProven ability to prospect, develop, and close new businessExcellent communication, organization, and relationship skillsSelf-motivated, competitive, and accountableValid driver’s license and ability to travel statewideCompensation & Benefits
