Hourly Pay Range :

$43.69 - $67.72 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights :

  • Position : RN House Operations Administrator - Central Resource Team
  • Location : Elmhurst Main Hospital
  • Per Diem as Needed
  • Hours : Days 7 : 00am-7 : 30pm or Nights 7 : 00pm-7 : 30am

What you will need :

Minimum Education Level

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Masters in a health-related field preferred.
  • Minimum Licensure Requirements

  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Minimum Certification Requirements

  • Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association within 90 days of start date into position.
  • Current ACLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association within 90 days of start date into position.
  • Minimum Work Experience

  • Minimum of three years of previous management / supervisory experience in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in understanding and deriving real-time data and analytics to influence operational efficiency
  • What you will do :

    Responsible for provision of quality patient care 24 hours a day. Interprets and enforces established policies and procedures, serves as clinical and administrative resource person and intervenes in difficult situations or medical crises. Assumes overall responsibility for adequate staffing in collaboration with nurse managers and clinical leaders.

    Coordinates with the Hub, a centralized command center for Edward Hospital and Elmhurst Hospital, to optimize patient flow, bed utilization, transfers of care, patient transfers and overall throughput and operational efficiency.

    May float between the Hub, Edward and Elmhurst Hospitals as needed. May function as a bedside RN to complete complex patient tasks.
