Position Summary :

Provides occupational therapy specialty services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain occupational skills. The Occupational Therapist assesses the functional needs of the patients and sets appropriate goals for that patient;  provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists as needed;  and reassesses patient's functional needs and adjusts care plan as indicated to ensure optimal patient outcome.  Specialty needs for Level II may possibly include hand therapy with dynamic splint preparation, pelvic health, voice and swallow, psychiatric rehab, perinatal, lymphedema, and industrial.

Reports to : Therapies Director / Supervisor

FLSA :  Non-exempt

Required : combination of 3 or more specialty courses and at least 5 years of experience performing specialty with a regular patient caseload.
