Overview
Scarsdale Publishing seeks experienced English to Spanish fiction editors for ongoing fiction projects. Editors must be self-starters who can work remotely and meet deadlines. Must have experience in editing Spanish fiction. This is a long-term freelance position for suitable candidates to work from home.
Responsibilities
- Read through original material and edit for accuracy in Spanish.
- Use specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used.
- Proficient in Word.
- Work closely with Managing Editor.
- Provide a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text, as a word-processed document.
Qualifications
If you are selected, you will be required to complete one mandatory translation test.
