Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an X-Ray Tech with at least 1 year of experience, BLS and ARRT certification, and EPIC proficiency for a day shift hospital assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Hospital-based X-Ray Tech role
  • Works primarily with adult patients
  • Day shifts : four 10-hour shifts per week from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
  • Every third weekend required
  • On-call responsibilities apply
  • Uses GE, Siemens, PACS equipment, and portable units
  • EPIC used for charting and documentation; prior EPIC experience required
  • Responsible for performing diagnostic X-ray exams using hospital-based equipment
  • May be required to float within scope as needed
  • Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
  • Former employees are eligible to return if separated from the facility for at least 6 months
  • All required time off must be disclosed and approved before contract start
  • Fingerprinting for Ohio is required immediately after contract signing
  • Scrub requirements and holiday coverage expectations will follow hospital policy

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year recent X-Ray Tech experience required
  • Current BLS and ARRT certification required
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
  • Experience with GE, Siemens, PACS systems, and portable X-ray equipment preferred
  • Two professional references required, with at least one from a supervisor or manager
  • License required if applicable
