About This Opportunity

Seasonal worker will assist with the annual Salvation Army Red Kettle Bell Ringing Campaign. Will transport ringers and kettles to and from their designated locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with paid Kettle Bell ringers at The Salvation Army each morning to transport bell ringers and kettles to their designated locations.
• Keep inventory of kettles and switch out kettles as needed during the day.
• Pick up kettles in the evenings.
• Keep track of all paid ringer shifts and hours by indicating start and stop times on kettle slips.
• Perform spot checks on bell ringer locations at times other than beginning and end of shifts.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Limited amount of physical effort required associated with lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.)

Work requires driving a vehicle daily with exposure to the outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

Work is performed outside where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather and discomforts associated with noise, dust, and dirt. Dressing appropriately is important for comfort.
