Job Summary
Being a Crew Hand requires you to be willing to work outdoors, endure physical labor, have good customer service skills, and work with other members of the crew in foundation repair. Previous experience in construction, remodeling, foundation repair, or new construction is a bonus.
Responsibilities
Use of manual and motorized equipment for digging pilot holes for installing piles on both residential and commercial jobsDrive work truck if neededLoading and unloading trucks (equipment, hoses, steel piles, etc.)Reliable transportation to get to the office / shop every dayMust be able to lift 50-60 poundsAbility to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditionsQualifications
Two years in the foundation / construction field is preferable but will consider the hands-on experience in other related fieldsMust be able to operate machinery, like a mini excavatorMust have valid Drivers LicensePrevious experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not requiredStrong work ethic and willingness to learn new skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsBasic knowledge of construction tools and equipmentBenefits / Perks
