Job Summary
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the concessions team by scheduling team members and checking them in for each event. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include :
- Ensuring proper staffing levels and that concessions locations are set and ready for business prior to doors on event days and adjusting to the business during events as needed.
- Assisting with staff check-in before the event.
- Supporting team on event planning and execution.
- Correcting pay changes based upon incorrect clocking in for event.
- Organizing group needs weekly touch base regarding upcoming events. Responsible for setup, collection and auditing of all event paperwork.
- Participating in general office duties : meetings, cleaning, filing and other similar administrative activities.
- Promoting a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale.
- Displaying a positive attitude towards team members.
- Maintaining a positive relationship with non-profit organizations, the client, location business partners and sub-contractors.
- Completing all projects in a timely manner.
- Standing for long periods of time and being able to actively engage physically with guests.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Reacting with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
- Demonstrating physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
- Lifting / moving materials and equipment up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Moving from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
The ideal candidate will have 1 year or more experience in foodservice or hospitality and administrative. An outgoing personality is preferred. The candidate should have the ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing exceptional experience. The ability to communicate effectively by speaking and comprehending English, with the ability to problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.
