The Director of Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) is a critical leadership role within Insulet's Global Security team. This leader will oversee the GSOC, ensuring 24 / 7 situational awareness, operational excellence, and rapid response capabilities across all regions. The role will integrate intelligence workflows into GSOC operations, enhance threat detection and incident management, and support other Global Security programs including Travel Security, Special Event Security, Crisis Management, and Executive Protection.

GSOC Oversight & Operational Excellence
- Lead and manage the Global Security Operations Center, ensuring 24 / 7 monitoring, incident response, and situational awareness.
- Develop and implement GSOC policies, procedures, and performance metrics to drive operational excellence.
- Ensure GSOC technologies and platforms are optimized for global coverage, scalability, and integration with other security systems.
Intelligence Integration & Threat Detection
Integrate intelligence workflows into GSOC operations to enhance threat detection, risk analysis, and global coordination.Collaborate with the Director of Global Intelligence to ensure timely dissemination of actionable intelligence.Monitor global events and emerging threats, providing real-time alerts and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.Incident Management & Crisis Support
Oversee incident response protocols and ensure timely escalation and resolution of security events.Support crisis management efforts by providing situational updates, coordinating response actions, and maintaining communication channels.Conduct post-incident reviews and implement lessons learned to improve GSOC capabilities.Program Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Support other Global Security programs including Travel Security, Special Event Security, Executive Protection, and visitor / executive travel coordination.Partner with internal stakeholders including HR, Legal, IT, Facilities, and Risk Management to ensure alignment and support.Maintain strong relationships with external partners including law enforcement and emergency services.Manage vendor relationships and expand options to supplement the Global Security Operations CenterCulture & Communication
Promote a security-conscious culture through proactive communication, training, and engagement.Provide regular briefings and updates to leadership on GSOC performance, threat landscape, and emerging risks.Required Skills and Competencies
Proven experience leading GSOC operations in a global, high-growth environment.Strong understanding of security technologies, incident management platforms, and intelligence tools.Demonstrated ability to manage teams, drive operational excellence, and respond effectively under pressure.Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.Ability to operate independently while coordinating with global partners and stakeholders.Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of relevant law enforcement, public sector, private sector, or corporate experience with at least three years of program management experience.Experience managing 24 / 7 operations centers and leading incident response teams.Professional security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP) are strongly preferred.Additional Information
The position is based in Acton, MA with global responsibilities.Some travel may be required to support global operations and team development.Note : This position requires on-site working (requires on-site office / plant / lab work).
