REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of estimating experience within HVAC / sheet metal / building systems
• BlueBeam software experience
• Knowledgeable in estimating software and contract documentation
• Must be able to design / figure out problems on the fly
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Gather and analyze historical cost data, blueprints, and project documents to create accurate estimates.

Collaborate with clients, vendors, engineers, and construction teams to resolve issues and refine project costs.

Prepare detailed estimates and proposals to support project planning, scheduling, and bidding.

Review contracts, attend site walk-throughs, and participate in pre-bid meetings to clarify project scope.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Support project managers with material takeoffs, pricing changes, and coordination with engineering

Proactively escalate complex issues to the Estimating Manager with recommended solutions.
