Purpose

To participate in the planning and delivery of academic advising / counseling services and programs that promote comprehensive educational opportunities for students.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and six years of experience working with college students in an academic advising capacity or master's degree in a related field and four years of experience in advising, group work, assessment and administration of college students' academic programs.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional experience beyond the required. Master's degree and four years of experience described above or extensive experience in advising group work, assessment, and administration of college students' academic programs. Ability to relate well with college students, staff, and faculty. Experience certifying undergraduates at UT / Austin.

Salary Range

$50,000 + depending on qualifications

Employment Eligibility :

Retirement Plan Eligibility :

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
