INVENTORY SUPERVISOR
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for inventory accuracy for specific customer accounts. They ensure inventory audits are completed, investigates variances, identify root causes for inventory discrepancies, and report findings. Recommends improvements to warehouse processes to prevent inventory loss, improve picking accuracy and increase productivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all aspects of the facility inventory management, to include; inventory accuracy, inventory replenishment, and inventory conversion through kitting.
- Manage the replenishment / returns process
- Oversee the kitting team ensuring all kiting projects are prepared and processed timely, ensuring the inventory of the converted item and new Item are accurately accounted for.
- Design and manage cycle count program for all clients
- Schedule Physical Inventories with client services for all clients along with a set calendar
- Perform location assessment and manage direct corrective actions
- Managing quarantine and product destruction protocols
- Evaluate flow of inventory from Receiving and Returns while having your direct reports perform audits
- Managing the system integrity of building locations / inventory
- Ensure your direct reports are trained in both COPS & Synapse System
- Manage team workload and ensures priority work is completed timely
- Reinforce consistent operational standards through training and accountability
- Monitor, analyze and report daily / weekly departmental performance through effective KPI tracking and data collection for respective shift
- Have daily beginning for the shift meetings with your direct report
- Manage employee attendance and payroll hours
- Provide daily feedback to employees through coaching and administer performance appraisals
- Handle all disciplinary situations appropriately and in a timely manner with appropriate supporting documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Provide feedback to the Operation Manager on the operations and employees
- Fulfill the duties of a supervisor under the Occupational Health and Safety Act including; safety, violence, and harassment laws
- Maintain warehouse sanitation practices; clean, organized, and safe environment
- Demonstrate respect for the Company’s values daily, maintain and uphold all policies & procedures
- Assumes additional related responsibilities as required
EXPERIENCE
Five (5) years Distribution experience (3PL experience preferred)At least two (2) years supervisory experience, preferably in a 3PL Operations roleMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesCOMPETENCIES / SKILLS
